My bass fishing journey began over 20 years ago, and from the very first cast, I knew I was hooked. What started as a hobby has grown into a full-fledged career and passion that has shaped my life. Over the years, my skills have sharpened, and my love for the sport has only deepened.

Throughout my journey, I’ve always been driven by the challenge of mastering new techniques and understanding bass behavior. Whether I’m fishing for fun or in a high-stakes tournament, I approach every situation with the same level of excitement and dedication. That drive led me to the professional circuit, and I’m proud to say that I’ve recently fulfilled a lifelong dream by competing in the Bassmaster Opens.

Joining the Bassmaster Opens was a monumental step in my career, and it’s an honor to be surrounded by some of the best anglers in the world. The competition is fierce, but every day on the water brings an opportunity to grow and refine my craft.

I am a former angler who fished for the University of Alabama. Now, I make content on social media such as fishing POV videos, and golf course fishing tutorials. I’ve been fishing since I can remember. My dad took me fishing when I was little and I’ve been hooked since.

I fish ABA Pro League in Tennessee, ABA Top 150 Solo’s in Alabama, USA Bassin in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Tennessee, and of course the Big Bass Bash on Lake of the Ozarks! This is where I met Matt Glover with Glover Lures. What drew me to Glover Lures is the way Matt and his wife, Stacy, treated their customers like family and how they help out the community. Last, but not least, Glover Lures has some awesome baits and he can custom paint any bait you want.

I’ve been competitive fishing for 30+ years. I’ve competed in local, regional, and national events all over the country. I started throwing glide baits when they first started showing up. Glover Lures are some of the best around. When I need that kicker in a tournament or just wanting to catch a hog from the home lake I give em a Glover.

I’ve been fishing since the age of 4 and never looked back. I’ve been obsessed since I was a kid and still obsessed today! I started fishing with my dad and grandpa on farm ponds and Norfork Lake in Southern Missouri. Any free time I had, I wanted to fish.

In 2019-2020 durning Covid a good friend of mine got me into kayak fishing and that has become my new obsession! I fish kayak bass fishing tournaments all over the country and love it. It’s a lot of fun, challenging and the kayak community is like none other.

I’m excited to be working with and representing Glover Lures. Matt is an incredible painter and I love throwing his custom paint jobs on my glides, cranks, jerkbaits and top water plugs. I’m excited for the season and a long term partnership with Glover Lures!

Chris Wilson

As a kid, I grew up fishing for crappie and bluegill, it wasn’t until a few years ago that I really got into bass fishing. I started kayak fishing back in 2015, but it wasn’t until 2024 that I began taking the sport seriously and diving into the competitive scene. These days, I fish the MOYAK Elite Series in Missouri and compete in the regional All American Kayak Series. I’m also a member of Kayak Anglers of Missouri.

I love the thrill of competition from my Old Town Autopilot 136, but even more than that, I enjoy being on the water and soaking in the beauty of God’s creation.

I first discovered Glover Lures at a local tackle shop, picked up a few, and they quickly became my go-to crankbaits. Whether the situation calls for a crank or a glide, I’m giving ’em a Glover!
